Sinéad O’Connor’s Will

Sinéad O'Connor, best known for her cover of Prince's song "Nothing Compares 2 U", died on July 26, 2023 in London, England at age 56 from natural causes. The singer sold over six million albums worldwide.

The Sun (UK) reports that probate records show O'Connor's estimated $1.7 million (US) estate will be shared among her surviving children Jake, Roisin, and Yeshua. Her son Shane died in January of 2022 at age 17.

“I direct that after my death, and at the discretion of any of my children who are then over 18, my albums are to be released to 'milk it for what it’s worth.'"

“My children can dispense my ashes as they see fit.”
