SIMPLE MINDS TOURING NORTH AMERICA
Scottish band Simple Minds have announced a North American headline tour – their biggest in the US and Canada in four decades. The ALIVE & KICKING TOUR 2025 will play arenas and amphitheaters across the continent starting May 16th in Ridgefield, WA, and concluding June 22nd, 2025 in Noblesville, IN. They will be joined by special guests Soft Cell and Modern English.
Simple Minds, known for their five number one albums on the UK charts, will be releasing a new live album, Live in the City of Diamonds, on April 25th, 2025, shortly before the tour starts. It was recorded at a sold out show of 17,000 at Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome on April 6th 2024. It includes hits "Alive and Kicking", "Sanctify Yourself" and the Billboard Hot 100 number one song, "(Don’t You) Forget About Me". The album will be available on 2-CD sets (24 tracks) or 2-Vinyl LP sets (18 tracks). Album pre-sale here.
"(Don’t You) Forget About Me", from the iconic 1985 film The Breakfast Club, is certified 3x Platinum in the UK, and recently joined the Billions Club on Spotify.
