Updated: 2 days ago
On Wednesday, the multiple award-winning K-pop band BLACKPINK announced a 2025-2026 world stadium tour with shows in North America, Europe, UK and Asia.
They currently have over 16 million monthly Spotify listeners.
The South Korean girl group was founded in 2016, starring Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, who seem to have earned themselves the moniker of biggest girl band in the world since the release of their 2016 single album Square One, with the song "Whistle", backed with the song "Boombayah".
Square Two followed shortly thereafter, featuring the song "Playing with Fire", which was the first by a Korean girl group to break into the Billboard Canadian Hot 100.
The single "Ddu-Du Ddu-Du" from their Square Up EP (2018) was certified Gold by the RIAA in the US. Their debut album, The Album (2020), charted at #2 on the US Billboard 200, and #1 on the Billboard US World Digital Songs chart.
BLACKPINK 2025 World Tour will be their fourth tour, commencing on July 5th, 2025, at the Goyang Stadium in South Korea, and concluding on January 18th, 2026, at the Tokyo Dome in Japan.
