My Chemical Romance (MCR) is set to embark on a North American stadium tour, featuring alternating special guests Alice CooperViolent FemmesGarbage, Evanescence, Death Cab for Cutie, PixiesDevo100 Gecs, Wallows, Thursday, and IDLES.

The 10-city tour is scheduled to start on July 11th, 2025, in Seattle, Washington, and end on September 13th, 2025, in Tampa, Florida.

From the band:

"It has been seventeen years since The Black Parade was sent to the MOAT. In that time, a great Dictator has risen to power, bringing about "THE CONCRETE AGE”; a glorious time of stability and abundance in the history of DRAAG.

His Grand Immortal Dictator wishes to celebrate our rich and storied culture, fine foods, and musical entertainments by welcoming you to these great demonstrations of power and resolve. And lending voice and song for the first time in six thousand two hundred and forty six days, their work privilege ceremoniously reinstated, will be His Grand Immortal Dictator's National Band... The Black Parade.

Long Live Draag"

MCR is a rock band formed in Newark, New Jersey in 2001, by vocalist Gerard Way, drummer Matt Pelissier, bassist Mikey Way, and lead guitarist Ray Toro. Frank Iero joined later, on rhythm guitar.

Their music style has been described as alternative rock, punk rock, glam, post-hardcore and emo. The band has steadfastly rejected the emo label after attacks by the Daily Mail (UK) accusing the band of promoting self-harm.

MCR stated, “My Chemical Romance are and always have been vocally anti-violence and anti-suicide. As a band, we have always made it one of our missions through our actions to provide comfort, support, and solace to our fans."

Their indie debut album I Brought You My Bullets, You Brought Me Your Love, was released in 2002 on Eyeball Records.

In 2003, they signed with Reprise Records and released their major-label debut, Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge, in 2004. Shortly after the album's release, drummer Pelissier was replaced by the late Bob Bryar. The album was a commercial success, currently 3x Certified Platinum.

The album contains the Platinum hit "I'm Not Okay (I Promise)", the Gold-certified "Helena", "The Ghost of You", and the UK hit "Thank You for the Venom".
