Madonna launches The Celebration Tour in Vancouver on July 15th
Editor's note: Madonna has postponed the North American leg of her tour as of June 28, 2023. New dates are expected to be announced.
Editor's note: New dates are available below.
The Celebration Tour is Madonna's 12th concert tour and her first greatest hits tour, promising her best songs from four decades. Scheduled to run from July 2023 to January 2024 with special guest Bob the Drag Queen, Madonna is booked for 80 performances in 12 countries.
The rumored tour was highly anticipated by fans, and seemed imminent when Madonna, the best-selling female solo touring artist of all time, wiped her Instagram account clean on January 16th, 2023. The next day, she announced the tour via a poster, and a black and white video featuring Judd Apatow, Amy Schumer, Diplo, Jack Black, and Lil Wayne.
“I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for,” states Madonna.
The tour is scheduled to open on July 15th, 2023, in Vancouver, Canada, and set to close on January 20, 2024 in Phoenix, AZ.

MADONNA'S BIG BREAK
Following the recent death of record executive Seymour Stein, Madonna shared the following story on her Instagram page:
"I stalked a DJ named Mark Kamin - for a year at a club called Danceteria! In the Early 80’s. He finally agreed to play my demo of a song called “Everybody” on a Saturday night. The Club was packed. An A&R man from SIRE records was there - Michael Rosenblatt. He heard the music and asked me if he could bring me to meet his boss Seymour Stein.
I Couldn’t get the words “Hell Yes”! out of my mouth fast enough!
Unfortunately Seymour was in the hospital for a Heart Ailment!
I didn’t care. Lets Goooooo! When I met him he was laying in a hospital bed wearing his boxer shorts and a wife beater!
He had a cannula up his nose and a saline Drip in his arm! He was grinning like the Cheshire Cat.
I was carrying my giant boombox ready to play My cassette for him immediately! He smiled and laughed when he saw me and asked me if I was related to the Virgin Mary!! Hahahhahahaa. I knew we would hit it off. I played him the song a few times. He signed me to his record label that day!!"

When asked by Simone Marchetti what she would do if she were 20 years old today, Madonna answered:
"I don’t even know, I guess I would do the same thing – I would still want to go out in the world, I’d still be curious and hungry for knowledge and want to do as much as possible. I would still want to make my mark on the world, express myself, disturb the peace, be adventurous – be rebellious. All those things. I wouldn’t be any different, I would just have more food and more shoes."
