Rock Hard and Heavy

As any true headbanger can tell you, there are a myriad of sub-categories of rock - 300 perhaps? I've decided to focus on heavy metal and hard rock tours, keeping in mind that some have rock supporting acts.

I think the most obvious choice to lead the list is Metallica, who are extending their record-breaking M72 World Tour to include 21 North American dates in 2025. This will be the third year of the tour in support of their latest album, 72 Seasons. Read more...

THE ROCK TIMES is a monthly online music magazine featuring concert previews and reviews, interviews, features and contests. We aspire to represent different genres of music, and we give away a lot of awesome merch from the coolest musicians.

Since starting The Rock Times, we've done features, interviews, previews, reviews, and/or contests with some outstanding musicians, including GRAMMY winner A Flock Of Seagulls, GRAMMY winners Shenandoah, GRAMMY nominee Men Without Hats, JUNO winner Honeymoon Suite, JUNO winner George Fox, JUNO nominee Spoons, and Princess Goes (composed of Golden Globe winner Michael C. Hall, Peter Yanowitz of The Wallflowers fame, and Matt Katz-Bohen of Blondie).

I am proud to have interviewed GRAMMY winner William Wittman, GRAMMY nominees Eric Bazilian & Rob Hyman (The Hooters), and GRAMMY nominee Steve Gaboury, plus Jan Pulsford (Thompson Twins), Sue Hadjopolous (Joe Jackson), Sandy Gennaro (The Monkees), and Caitlin Kalafus (Kicking Daisies).

Coldplay

The Music of the Spheres World Tour is the ongoing eighth concert tour undertaken by British rock band Coldplay. It is being staged to promote their ninth and tenth studio albums, Music of the Spheres (2021) and Moon Music (2024), respectively.

The tour began at Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica on 18 March 2022 and is scheduled to end at London's Wembley Stadium on September 2025. -WIKI
